Wadi Rum

It is a Valley into granite rocks and sandstone in the southwest Jordan. Wadi is inhabited by many cultures since the prehistoric times including Nbateans leaving the mark in form of painting rocks, temples and graffiti. As the year 2007 several Bedouin inhabit tribes Rum and surrounding the area. This wadi may be known for connection with the British officer T.E Lawrence. During 1980s one of impressive rock formation in the Wadi Rum named as " Seven Pillars of Wisdom" in reflection of Lawrence's book in aftermath of war, though it is referred in book that actually have no any connection with the Rum.
 

Later, the Tony Woward, Mick Shaw, Taylor and Al baker, discovered area as climbing area in year 1984.

Fuheis

It is a Christian town that is 20 kilometers to the northwest of Amman, Jordan. It is one of the Christian settlements in Center of Jordan. It is a close vicinity to the Amman and Salt. It Belongs to Blaqa Governance having 20,000 residents. Election took place in 2007 to elect Mayor and the City Council for Fuheis. Mr., Jerises Sweiss, who won with convincing majority of votes to become new Mayor of Fuheis. It is located in between Salt and Amman on several freshwater streams that are running thorough the area of forest 20 km in west of Amman. Town is split in 2 respective halves.

 

Mahis

It is also a famous town in Jordan and is located at 10 kilometers to the west of Amman. Population of town exceeds in 14,000 in which most of Mahis are descends from the Al-Abbadi tribe. It is a mountainous town and is located at over Eight hundred meters with views on Jordanian Valley, Jerusalem walls and West Bank.

 

It is know for the orchards as well as several water fountains and its springs. Mahi believed to the emerged during Roman Period. At that time it was bordered with Jewish Perea with territory of dioceses and Philadelphia. Name of city came from Arabic word that means check out examine due to status as border check point.
